Mianzhu, in Sichuan, sits on the golden 30°N brewing belt and is known as a world-class fine liquor region and a famous Chinese city of wine. The name “Shejiantai” comes from a legend told for a thousand years.
It is said that King Xiu of Shu marched here in a great drought; men and horses were parched. The king prayed with three arrows and shot the northwestern hillside — and three springs burst out, saving the people. In gratitude, a Shejiantai (Archery Terrace) was raised by the Sheshui River. Three arrows, a divine spring, and a fine liquor — that is the origin of the Shejiantai brand.
Sichuan Shejiantai Liquor Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1998, in the famous liquor industrial park of Mianzhu, between the Mawei and Sheshui rivers.
1. Gongxing Base: From “Daoshenyuan” to Century-Old Pits
Shejiantai’s Gongxing base is a living page of modern brewing history: it began with the Daoshenyuan workshop in 1921, inherits the intangible cultural heritage of Wei family traditional brewing, and holds 72 famous old fermentation pits of Sichuan.
Its “Shendiao Daqu” was once famous far beyond the region, celebrated in the saying, “past Tudi Po, Songpan smells the wine.” In the 1980s it repeatedly won first and second prizes for famous local products. Today the site is being upgraded into the first Shejiantai winery of the Mianzhu region.
2. Banqiao Base: Old Craft, New Intelligence
The other base looks forward: Banqiao uses a smart brewing platform that applies intelligent equipment and digital management without changing the traditional process.
Intelligent fermentation, spatial transfer robots, smart spreading and cooling, heat recovery and water recycling — all at leading domestic levels. Technology holds up the core of tradition.
3. Yijianhong: Why Make a Bulk Format?
Famous bottles are wonderful, but the liquor you drink every day needs something else: honesty. The Yijianhong series is Shejiantai’s answer for ordinary households.
It is a complete bulk line: Honghong Huohuo, Hongyun Dangtou, Hongluan Tianxi, Hongfu Qitian, plus the first-generation Yijianhong 42 / 50, in formats from 2.5L to 4.99L.
Yijianhong 42 / 50: the first-generation bulk strong aroma — “the best liquor at the friendliest price.”
Hongluan Tianxi: the best-selling of the second generation — pure grain, naturally aged in clay jars, easy to drink and quick to recover from.
The craft insists on five grains: sorghum, rice, glutinous rice, wheat and corn from the Sheshui riverside, with the “three-arrow spring” water, fermented in the traditional solid-state strong-aroma method — soft, sweet, mellow and fragrant.
