I. Mianzhu: the golden brewing belt at latitude 30Β°N
Mianzhu sits on the golden brewing belt of latitude 30Β°N, honored as a World Famous Wine Region and China's City of Fine Liquor. It lies between the Mawei River to the east and the Sheshui River to the south, with the snow peaks of Jiuding Mountain behind β glacier meltwater from a 2.36-million-year-old ice stratum, filtered through 16 years of rock layers, becomes the sweet, crisp water of the mash.
The name SheJianTai itself comes from a legend a thousand years old. The county chronicle of Mianzhu records: when King Xiu of Shu marched his army here in a great drought, men and horses parched and the people suffering, the king shot three arrows toward the mountain foot, praying to heaven β and three springs burst forth. To honor the king's blessing, the people built the "Archery Terrace" (SheJianTai) by the Sheshui River β three arrows of the king brought forth sacred springs, and from them fine liquor was born.
II. Pit cellars from 1921 and an intangible heritage craft
In 1998, SheJianTai Spirits Group was founded in the Famous Liquor Industrial Park of Mianzhu. But brewing here began much earlier, in 1921, at the Daoshenyuan distillery in the Gongxing base β home of the Wei-family traditional baijiu brewing craft, a listed intangible cultural heritage, with 72 celebrated aged pit cellars of Sichuan province. Its legendary "Shendiao Daqu" once earned the saying: "Cross the Tupo ridge and the aroma reaches Songpan."
In 2021, SheJianTai won a Gold Medal at the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition), and its pit cellars were recognized as celebrated cellars of 40+ year-old Sichuan nongxiang baijiu. A century of cellar mud and a century of craft β this is the true foundation of Hongtai 30.
III. A flame-red triangle, limited to 6,000 bottles
